Honorary Consul for Malta in Chisinau, Moldova.

Malta has a very good relationship with Chisinau, however, the amount of trade between the two countries has been relatively very small in the past. The Maltese Government decided to appoint an Honorary Consul to look after the interest of Maltese citizens in Chisinau and in particular to improve the commercial ties between the two countries.

Like Republic of Moldova, Malta’s long term prosperity depends on successful and sustainable enterprise and to this end Malta is committed to make it easier for enterprises to establish a mutually advantageous commercial relationship between the two countries. The Maltese Honorary Consulate has been established to assist Moldavian companies or entrepreneurs who would like to explore the possibilities of profitable business with Malta, in association with the Maltese Government agency Malta Enterprise. Please complete the Business Enquiry Form as an initial introduction of your business if you would like to initiate business in Malta or with Maltese companies.

In order to assist Maltese citizens, any Maltese descents and others who have a Maltese connections living or staying in Republic of Moldova for any purpose, it is important for the Maltese Consulate to know their next of kin in case of any emergency and or any unforeseen problems. I therefore would like to invite such person to register with the Maltese Consulate Office by returning the completed the unofficial Registration Form by post or email.
